Hornbach MACHER-Stories

For years I shot a lot of MACHER-Stories for the hardware store chain Hornbach. The video series portrayes people who are passionate about their projects, who built things from scratch and create their personal art. I often did camera and editing and also directed a couple of episodes.

The first two videos have a longer duration than the rest and are depicting a long term project resulting from the regular "Macher Stories". The protagonist Gustl has a lethal disease. Before he dies, he wants to achieve his heart's desire to see the northern lights once in his life. Being a craftsman and a free spirit, he builds a tiny house on a trailer and starts his journey to the North Cape with an oldtimer tractor.
